A good item to consider with Sterak, though they are mutually exclusive on this list, is the Immortal Shieldblow that is better suited for Critical Strike and Attack Speed fighters like Yi or Tryndamere. Sterak’s will provide you with a solid enough shield to save you from being immediately taken out. Whenever you’re faced with brutal one-shotting Assassins such as Zed or Talon, you need tools to withstand that first all-in that deals most of their damage.
This shield is increased by 8%/4.8% (melee/ranged) per stack of Bloodlust, capping at 40%/24%. Unique Passive – Lifeline: If you take damage that would bring you below 30% of Maximum HP, gain a shield that absorbs 100 damage for 4 seconds. Stacks up to 5 times for each Unique Champion, but subsequent stacks after the first are reduced by 50% for a cap of 6%/3.6% of Maximum HP over the duration.
